Rapid Application Development (RAD) is officially a parallel development and integration of functions. Components and / or functions are developed in parallel, as if they were mini-projects, developments are time boxed, shipped and then assembled into a working prototype. This can quickly do something to the client to see and use and provide feedback regarding the delivery and their needs.
